'Wow. Just…wow! Beautiful building and interior, very clean rooms. Insanely great shower/tub/sauna bathroom. Spend the extra pittance for the sauna upgrade and thank me later. We arrived early, before the room was expected to be ready, but the front desk tagged and stored our luggage and delivered to the room once it was ready. Very convenient walking distance to Gion area temples and shrines. Easy access to other parts via the bus stop 100 ft away. 帰る方所ですね！'

'Great hotel in an ideal location. A staff member met us and took us to our room to check us in. The unit had two bedrooms and a large living room area for eating and television. Beautiful room. Great location next to a scenic temple. We had the breakfast in our room. It was tasty and a reasonable price. I highly recommend it! '

'Everything was perfect. It comes with a laundry in your room, but no dryer. However you can hang them in the bathroom and turn on the heater and it’ll dry quick. It was a beautiful hotel'

'When I booked our room I didn't realize that all the rooms have a kitchenette so upon arrival we were so happy to see our room and its amenities. Not sure if all are similar in size, but it was large - a nice change to the typical smaller hotel rooms. The front desk people were friendly and super helpful. The owner helped us figure out a challenging luggage transfer service that we needed. We are so appreciative of her time in doing so. The location is great. Close to major shrines and the Gion...
