'The location is remote, peaceful and lovely. It's an old building and full of character with huge, comfortable rooms. All the staff were helpful. Breakfasts were a little limited, but adequate. We didn't enjoy the one dinner we had, but it was good value. Overall I'd recommend this hotel for its excellent value accommodation and location.'

The entrance to the rooms was having a mould problem, so an extractor had been installed and reed diffuser to mask the smell.
