'We we lakeside and had a great view of the lake and surrounds, had the place pretty mcuh to oursleves as not school holidays so if you are after tranquill and quiet - great time of year to go an dnot too hot. Very helpful staff and a good tech detox as very limited reception in cabin but worth it if you need/want to disconnect for w little while to recharge etc.'

'Farm was great for our grandcildren and the family enjoyed the walks and quietness of the stay.'

'This is the second year we've stayed at this property, and it remains amazing. The renovations have been completed on the cottage and they open up the space even further. Very relaxing weekend away, with dogs and friends.'

'Great host!'

'Beautiful, peaceful and dog friendly!!! Me loved it, our dog loved it and made 2 new friends in Jacks and Mitchell!!! We will definitely come back again! What a gem! '

'Food was good. It was nice that it was so old. But the accommodation was awfull. Big ventilator next to our room. We both slept less then an 2 hours. Rooms were not clean, room needed repairs, etc. Would definetly not recommend. '

'Lovely house and decor. Very comfy beds. Clean and tidy. Good location.'

'Host was very helpful . Cottage was great , in a brilliant setting ..'

'We stayed at the cottage the end of June, so it was fairly cold. The fire was effective at keeping the cottage cosy, and the oil heater was a good backup through the night. A great place for a peaceful escape, nice rural outlook, sunset through the trees, Kookaburras at day break, a nice verandah which catches the afternoon sun. Easy country drive to places of interest and great eateries. Friendly, obliging hosts *****'

'We have very nice time with the family '

'We had a lovely stay at Blue Slate Cottage, with cozy fires, wandering around the paddocks and our son loved seeing the animals like horses and kangaroos. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.'

'Excellent property. Everything as seen on the website. We really enjoyed our stay'

'A great place to get away from it all. Beautiful views, spectacular sunsets, open fires, and plenty of walks to do around the property. Mike was really helpful and generous with providing information. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything a large family needs. We would definitely come back to stay again.'

'This cottage was perfect for us. Clean, with lovely furniture & quality bedding along with multiple areas to relax and enjoy. Kitchen was extremely well appointed. Our hosts unexpectedly provided us with bread, milk, orange juice, butter, condiments, breakfast cereals, tea and coffee sachets too. We were arriving just on dark and the heating had already been set on for us.'

'We left and asked for a refund. Things they didnt mention - no fires allowed - no toilet (sandpaper toilet) - no power (they have lights but you cant plug in your phone or anything else for that matter - bbq broken'
