'I thought I was making a reservation at The Colony Hotel, which is an ocean view hotel, but when I arrived, there was a large dumpster blocking the entrance. I called the hotel and was told it’s under renovation an I would be staying at another location across the street. Not ocean view. Had to drive to a nearby store to check into this other hotel. My room was acceptable but bathroom door would not lock properly. Very Disappointing!'

'We haven't seen any staff at al! We checked in at 3.30 , not late, but the key was in the mailbox, our room was in another building, no heating ( it was freazing last night) and no extra blancket. Breakfast was not what we expected and again no one was there! We made the decision to go to a Bed and Breakfast because it is so much more personal then a hotel but that is difficult when no one is there or shows up!'

'We werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen bij de receptie en mochten zelfs een upgrade ontvangen naar een kamer met balkon met uitzicht op zee. Het gebouw heeft wel achterstallig onderhoud. Gratis koffie en er is ook een restaurant.'

'The rooms are very cute and beachy feeling with nice decor. Super close to the beach and nice restaurants, eveninthe off-season. If you're a light sleeper, beware the train goes by several times over night. Would definitely stay here again!'
