'There wasn't anything I disliked about the property. I checked in later in the evening -9:30 or so. Staff was helpful and courteous. Room was clean and comfortable. Checked out at 8:00 a.m.,got a decent breakfast and rolled out. Was traveling on a motorcycle, room right off the exit and right back on.'

'A convenient location if you need a stop by the highway. Room mostly clean. I’m not sure the pillows were originally meant to sleep on because they were square, hard, and quite uncomfortable. '

'Staff was nice and accommodating. Its more like a motel situation then a hotel. Room was clean but smelled like cigarettes. I definitely let them know immediately (I wasnt about to get charged for that). Bed wasn't very comfortable to me. I had a hard time sleeping, but I guess you get what you pay for. The plus side was there are lots of stores in the area and eateries.'

'Very nice property. Good location right off the interstate and close to restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were remodeling so there was some inconvenience but I would recommend staying here.'

'The room was dirty, I booked through Expedia and got a call the day before and was told I had to pay right then or the room would be given away. It smelled, the towels were dirty and it just was all around not comfortable. I usually give the benefit but I honestly wont stay here again. We stayed two years ago and it was decent, not sure what happened.'

'The so called continental breakfast was lacking. It consisted of bananas, waffles, yogurt, and coffee and cereal. That is the worst continental breakfast I’ve ever experienced. The staff was unfriendly didn’t even acknowledge you when you walked into the lobby. The room was not clean daily. They only replaced our towels. They didn’t make the beds and didn’t vacuum.'

'We came to NC for Faith Fest 26 and this happened to be the closest hotel we could find to wilkesboro. But we were so fortunate that we stumbled upon this Hotel. The listing was very accurate to the actual townhouse. And it was conveniently located right in down town Elkin which turned out to be an awesome little town. We walked to go eat and get coffee every day. There is also a park with a splash pad for kids in close walking distant. Will definitely try to book again for Next year!'

'This geodesic dome facility is for the adventurous traveller. There is no running water, no electricity, a 150 yard walk to the porta-potties (very clean), and no cell phone service. But there is a running stream (supposedly stocked with trout but none seen in September), a dry shelter, a comfortable king size bed (bring your own linens and/or sleeping bags), 2 bunk beds in a separate room, a deck overlooking the stream with a fireplace and comfortable Adirondack chairs, and a large grassy lawn....

'I would let the renters know how far they will be going down the driveway. But the cabin is great. That’s exactly what we were looking for, to get a break from work and reality. It’s right on the water. Turn off your phones and enjoy nature and each other. Great place.'
