'The hotel is five years old yet it looks and smells brand new. The beds were extremely comfortable, water pressure in the shower was excellent and the room was very clean. 'Blue Gem motel was the perfect stay for us for our weekend event at Camp Kulaqua which was only a few minutes down the road. I was a lil hesitant since it was a “motel”. However the room was nicely decorated and spacious. The bed was a super comfy king bed. I travel a lot and was impressed with how comfortable I slept. The AC was nice and cold. 'Love, love, love this place and will definitely be coming back if they'll have us. Lots of space to play games outside and spend some time with the family without other campers right next to you. You couldn't ask for more friendly hosts, everything was easy from checking in to checking out. They showed us around the property and told us about some of the springs as well. My mom's car broke down and they let us rent it for another night last minute, they have two grills and a above ground pool...
