« We were in town for a wedding weekend. We had a total of 6 adults that stayed here. The wedding was at Countryside Banquet and Catering in Washington, IL. So the drive was simple and under 15 minutes from the Cottage on Columbus . We also enjoyed walking to the restaurants, ice cream at The Daily Scoop and Pour Brothers Craft Taproom as well as the local outstanding bakery, Trefzger’s. Definitely able to hear the people in the upstairs unit when speaking or walking. »

« The initial communication was good. However the property has issues that need to be addressed: mold in the basement, a syringe was found above a ceiling fan when the handyman came to service it. Once I advised the host of this all communication stopped. We couldn’t use 1 of the bedrooms and on the main floor due to it looking like a make-shift bed frame that could break at any moment. The tub was filthy & there were ants in there. I feel the cleaning crew is sub-par & has not been forthcoming...
