« Room was nice and also clean. Remote didn’t work the first day but call to front desk remedied the problem. The coffee pot also didn’t work but we told the upon checkout. Shops and restaurants were nice. We had a nice hike around the grounds. Enjoyed the indoor mini-golf. A nice retreat. »

« The entire cabin was a delight. There was Comfortable beds, clean, well appointed, great towels, and nice touch was the stocked coffee/tea area. Were only there overnight, wish we could stay longer.. »

« This was a beautiful experience for my fiance and I! The listing is entirely accurate. The location is beautiful; the people of Stoystown are very nice. There's a Walmart 15 min away, too, as well as a Bar/Restaurant up the street. There is no wifi or service/reception at all in the cabin. You'll have to go up the street to make calls, where the stop sign is. Beautifully kept cabin at a great price in a beautiful area! We didn't want to leave! Cabin was immaculate! « What a beautiful home! If we needed a place for a larger group I would absolutely stay here! We only needed a very small space so we stayed in the basement room which was perfect...large bathroom, laundry, kitchen and right on the river! Definitely a winner! »

« Perfect location right on the trail - which is beautiful. walking/running/biking. The location allows the ability to walk anywhere you need downtown, which is a little sleepy but cute nonetheless. We weren't ready for the trains, which arrived every hour to two hours throughout the night, as the railroad is just a couple of hundred feet away—(Sunday night stay - not sure if this matters, which night of the week). »

« it is a good economical choice for bikers passing through. It is not fancy, but it was clean, safe and quiet, my three top priorities. The price range of a hostel, but with the privacy that you would prefer. Staff was easy to get a hold of and they were friendly and kind. There was a nice restaurant right next-door and there’s a cool art gallery/coffeehouse in the area called Tissue Farm. »
