« We have been blessed to celebrate our mom's 85th & 87th birthdays at the Shamrock! We love the Shamrock and the grounds, it is beautiful and so well appointed. Denise & Mike think of everything! It's fun coming back and seeing new things, the vineyard is amazing! I hope we are able to gather at the Shamrock again! »

« This home is beautiful. It is updated and clean. It is in a great area and had everything we needed. I only wish our stay was longer, it is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. We would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended. »

« We had 16 of us that had an incredible weekend at this gorgeous home for the 40th reunion of our college pledge class. The main areas of the house had more than enough room for all of us to gather and catch up. There are many, many bedrooms that were found in all parts of the house that worked well for our group. It was such a fun weekend with many new memories that were made. »

« Our large group, consisting of 14 adults, had plenty of space, activities, comfortable beds and were happy with the on-suite bathrooms. There were those who enjoyed playing the piano, shooting pool, and putting on the green. We took in many of the historical sites in and near Independence and had an enjoyable reunion. »

« We have a large family but the home was very cozy with a living room and family room so we could spread out. They have a nice deck for grilling and lounging. The neighborhood was safe and there was plenty of parking. A wonderful place that we will return to next time we are in KC. »

« Great place to stay, away from the city while still being so close to the city. Updates inside were perfect. Nice large backyard, we had a graduation at UCM that weekend and had planned to use it for a few other family members to hang out after. We will definitely keep this on our list of places next time we are in the area. »

« We enjoyed our stay at Rays Place overall. The inside looks to have been recently updated and it was nice and clean throughout. However, much of the kitchen pans and cooking ware were old and not usable. There was not extra toilet paper in the house, the heating which were a few wall units did not keep the house warm, and there were no trash bins to put the trash bags in. The vrbo site said there was soap provided but the clothes soap container was almost empty and there was not soap in the...

« This house was perfect and im the mosr perfect location. We were able to walk to the downtown area along the road with a sidewalk all the way. There were alot of trails amd areas to explore along the way. The host was prompt with return messages and was very detailed which made the check in and check out easy. We're already planning a return trip and hope to stay here again. »

« We had storms and the tv was a Roku tv. I called our contact and was very worried. The actual owner came to our door and tried an old antenna to try and get us live tv. The hospitality was great and they were so kind and assured if anything happens they would get us to their storm shelter. I felt very valued and our wellbeing was a top concern. Highly recommend. »

« Stayed for 2 nights to go to the Chiefs/Chargers game. This house is so close to the stadium and very convenient. Anyone going to a Chiefs game should definitely check this place out. Highway noise is loud. Noise machines helped a bit. »
