« The place was a great base to explore the Shawnee national forest and garden of the gods. The accommodations were clean and had everything we needed. The outdoor space, large yard and deck, and a fire pit, was real nice. »

« This property is really unique and fun. The indoor space is compact but very cleverly designed and comfortable, and the outdoor space including the deck, fire pit, hot tub and lake shore are all top-notch. We only stayed one night and I wish our trip had allowed us more time to enjoy this spot. »

« We specifically were looking for a place with a kitchen so we could cook. This has a kitchen, but it was almost non-functional. No knives, no hot mitts, no cutting board, nothing to bake with. We improvised,but then the oven got stuck on 500 degrees/broil and wouldn't turn off. No one was on site that evening, and it took about 2 hours until our messages and phone calls were noticed. « Stellar property at that price point. Only things lacking were pots and pans to cook (we donated a set upon leaving), and furniture. A couch or two would be appropriate. Very nice kitchen, shame it was limited in use. »
