« We had a wonderful stay here. Location was great and the Staff was friendly. Our room was mostly clean & comfy. Very quiet and roomy as well. The Pool was chilly and the hot tub needed water. The Pool was still being filled when we went to use it but that was my only big complaint. Still used them both. Loved the big variety of breakfast provided with their continental breakfast as well! And a nice big room for eating in. We’ll definitely stay again. »

« Overall grade of "good" is deserving. Property has aged but kept up fairly well. *Recommend removing all trees in front of property. Put smaller shrubs in front. Add flowers. It will enhance appearance immeasurably. Consider remodeling bathrooms. Best wishes. Bob and Dawn Maple Grove, MN »

« This was our first time staying at the Trail Inn, and we were not disappointed. Though it's not "fancy", it seems to have been recently renovated, and was spotlessly clean with ample parking. Our room had new carpet and other flooring, excellent A/C unit, light-blocking window coverings, comfortable beds, new Roku TV, microwave and larger mini-refrigerator. For the price, it was perfect for us. We would stay there again when in Grantsburg. »

« This was such an amazing find. The rooms are beautiful and had the best sleep ever in a hotel. The beds are so comfortable, our family is still talking about the beds. Add in an amazing lake view and the property is gorgeous. We really want to come back and stay longer on the next trip. »

« Have to push the doors closed fairly hard. Only available room in the town however so better than sleeping in the car. Cereal and coffee were alright and their was an ashtray outside so didn't have to litter. TV broke and soap/lotion dispenser broken. Constant on and off ac with a loud bang and then silence and then another bang for ac back on. Amerivue is fairly run down as well but family owned and a pool »

« This is a great bed and breakfast. The home and bedroom were spacious and beautiful. The breakfasts were outstanding. The available activities within 15 minutes, included, hiking, bicycling, boating, kayaking, etc., etc. All great for active people. Our hosts were wonderful. Very attentive and interesting. We have high standards when traveling, and rate this right up there with the best. »

« When we checked in the cabin was dirty. There were cooked tater tots in the oven. Toilets were dirty . Concerns about stairs going to the lake are rotting way. Definitely not safe the hand rail go up the stairs is very lose and the first step going in bad shape aslo. The view from the deck is nice. The dock is definitely wouldn't go on . »

« We could not stay in this property, Exterior was overgrown, next to junkyard with misc items in yard, entered the property to an immediate sign stating "off limits" to the basement with a curtain--looked down to debris on steps and wife feeling unsafe. Kitchen floor was sticky, living area was dark, carpet smelled of smoke & dirty socks with furniture stained. Bathroom had urine splatters. When text host that this was unacceptable, they tried to move me to another property which we did not as we...
