'This motel was in a great and easy location to be able to walk to everything from. The room was clean, but very basic, and a shelf or small table to put our toiletries on in the bathroom (and soap in the shower) would have been helpful!'

'The house was large, spacious and had enough bedrooms for all of us to stay in. It is in a lovely setting with a beautiful view of the green hills in the backyard. It is walking distance to small stores and wineries. It is peaceful & relaxing.'

'We had a great family weekend in Carmel at Holly and Richard’s house. Especially enjoyed sitting on the courtyard deck under the oak tree enjoying the beautiful fall weather. The house gets great natural light and has a nice layout for family to spend time together in the common spaces. Communication with our hosts was top-notch, especially appreciated the helpful tips and recommendations—a birthday cake for my dad from their recommended local bakery was a big hit! '

'House was nice and great views of the Carmel valley mountains. Easy check in and check out processes.Some minor issues like having the hot tub heater not working properly (while paying an extra 100 per night for use) or having too many light switches that didn’t do anything and not having working lights in parts of the house. Even with following owners steps the living room lights wouldn’t work and we spent our time with the main living room in darkness. '

'Lovely space, bedrooms are good sized with very comfortable bedding. Kitchen and living areas are comfortable and easy to use. The backyard is beautiful, with a nice propane BBQ, and having the hot tub was a nice bonus. It is a pet friendly home and I always appreciate high quality properties with fenced yards and the dog was very comfortable here, as were we. I'd definitely come back.For older guests or those with difficulty walking up/down hills, please know this is not walkable to downtown....
