'Getting in and out was seamless. It's extremely easy to rely on the codes/app to get in and out. If you ever needed any help there was always someone at the front desk -- even when our flight was delayed and we got in after midnight. You can tell that the hotel experience is built to happen exclusively between the guest and the app. But for anyone who isn't tech savvy, there were plenty of staff around happy to help. '

'So imagine you’re running the Boston Marathon. You pick up your number at the convention center and head to your accommodation. When you get there, you find that your host, one of these property management companies called Evonify Stays, has never heard of you. Since you made the booking on Hotels.com, Evonify refers you back to them. Now, try getting anything other than an AI bot to communicate with you at Hotel.com. Apparently impossible in this instance at least. My one shout out in this...

'Provided everything we needed. The bedrooms were large, and the common areas easily accommodated us. The kitchen was well equipped, the washer and dryer were excellent, and the dining room table handled us all perfectly. Parking was a concern, because we didn’t understand local regulations until the owners explained how they would open their patio for parking when street parking wasn’t possible. We were unaware of any noise or cooking odors from the restaurant, below us.. The owners were quick...

'Apartment was exactly as described. It was clean and cozy. A bit outdated but only stayed 1 night so it was fine. Owner was so extremely helpful in our travels! The road right at the house had been shut down the day of our arrival which made it a little difficult to navigate to but he stayed on the phone with us and talked us through our route! Would definitely stay again!'
