'When I say this was an exceptional experience all around, know that this doesn't come off lightly. The home is literally at the top of the gated community with arguably the best view on the mountain. If you want to be in an extremly comfortable home with all the amenities you could possibly need, while looking out at an incredible mountain view, this is the one. 'Beautiful property with many conveniences of home and absolutely pristine clean facilities. Property is delightful and quiet, a wonderful place to call home while enjoying the winding roads and mountains all around. The only caution I offer is that the fold out bed is probably not suitable for anyone too tall. 'Exactly the quick and easy getaway we were looking for! Loved the gated community, the neighbors were all so friendly. Beautiful private views. Easy self check in. Wifi worked great, but the land line was nice for uninterrupted calls. Couldn't find a can opener and the host had one dropped off. Very responsive. Plenty of towels, soap, and shampoo. 'We had a great time on our trip to the mountains! Our host was very responsive to a few questions we had, and added several sweet personal touches to our stay that made the house cozy and welcoming, especially for my kids. We hiked the Catawba Trail, spent some time in nearby Black Mountain, and made s'mores by the firepit. It was a great weekend getaway for a family. '
