« We enjoyed our stay here very much. Beds are extra comfy and there was everything you could need. We wished it had lake access since we stayed during a brutal heat wave but no big deal. »

« This cottage was the perfect retreat. It’s in a beautiful location, easy to get out and explore the local hiking trails. The outdoor patio and hot tub were amazing at night, very peaceful and quiet. Communication and instructions with the host were clear. We would definitely stay here again! »

« Perfect for a quiet, getaway weekend. In the middle of it all in regard to hiking around Shawnee National Park. Absolutely loved the fire pit, which was stocked with wood. Hot tub was great for relaxing after hiking all day. Would recommend for any couple that enjoys the outdoors, or a couple like us that just wanted to get away from Chicago for a few days. »

« Beautiful log home. The view of the lake couldn’t be better. Be aware that there are many, many steps to the water, but they are not steep. My husband likes his coffee in the morning, but I prefer tea. Perfect for us! »

Their kitchen is supplied with anything you could possibly need including cooking spices and oils along with flour and sugar However, the island in the kitchen...

« Beautiful place. Beds were very comfortable. View of the lake was perfect! Only problem was that the pictures were a bit deceiving. The rooms looked larger in the pictures. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back next year! »

« Host was able to book us at the last minute which we appreciate. Love the lake front home. We were able to do some fishing off the dock and enjoy a campfire. Home was lovely and spacious. Host was extremely responsive. »

« Beautiful house! It had enough room for all 9 of us with plenty extra. It was stocked with kitchen supplies, and the outside area had a pretty view. Would definitely book here again! »
