'In de kamer hing een muffe geur, maar na klagen kregen we meteen een andere kamer. Netjes en knus ingericht. Uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Waren alle Econo Lodges maar zo als deze.'

'Incredibly sweet hostess (Cathy) who truly cares and knows the area well. We stayed in the Safari room and loved all the decor. It came with a large private bath with plenty of fresh towels. Breakfast was served made to order eggs and bacon with delicious coffee and fresh fruit cup. Unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience staying here. '

'There was plenty of parking but it was not very secure. The staff were indifferent to me and my requests. The room was dirty and the toilet was nasty. There was no breakfast provided but only 10 percent off at Hardee’s with my hotel receipt. The room wall looked like the bed was moved over 5 feet and a scar on the wall remained.'

'It is a large room and bathroom which is clean and comfortable with ample toiletries. However there is no hairdryer or trash can in the room. The only available electrical outlet is in the bathroom which is a problem if you require an outlet near the bed.The property is conveniently located to town circle and restaurants. 'The woman that checked us in was a pleasure! She was very helpful. The hotel was quiet and bed comfortable . But - coffee maker in room didn’t work and there was something sticky gross on the wall. Housekeeping could have cleaned it. Breakfast was just coffee and a danish. 🙁'

'Five stars all around! The Schoolhouse is beautifully decorated, and you can immediately feel the care and intention that went into creating the space. It was spotless, well-stocked with towels, toiletries, and the coffee and wine were such a thoughtful bonus. The host was responsive and kind! The location was perfect, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We’ll be staying here every time we visit Monticello!'
