« We stayed in bunkhouse 1 which was very spacious and well appointed. The views are beautiful and star gazing was amazing with the dark skies. There’s a gym, pool and hot tub that we look forward to using on our next visit. Only 5 miles into Ft. Davis for restaurants so it was very convenient. I highly recommend High Frontier! »

« Clean and very comfortable. So easy to check in. Owner gave us great info on how to get to the house and even described the low water crossings with water present. They were a bit tricky and she suggested a go around that was safer. Communication was excellent. Great views. Saw wildlife. »

« We had an absolutely phenomenal stay, our host was so amazing and accommodating. The locals around the town made you feel like family. The location was perfect, and the view of Sleeping lion mountain was so pristine, I loved waking up to it every morning coffee cup in hand. Even my dog was impressed at the location, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We had such a wonderful stay, I will definitely be booking again soon. »

« This is an incredible cabin! The location is perfect, close to everything, but very secluded. Beautiful property and fun vibe. I wasn't able to make the McDonald nighttime tour, but was rewarded with my own Dark Skies experience at the cabin including a shower of shooting stars. The owners were great to deal with and had thought of everything for the place. Highly recommend this spot if you are in the Fort Davis area. »
