'Nine of us thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay! Space enough for quiet times and group times, indoors and outdoors on the large 2nd floor deck and individual decks. Windows everywhere had us feeling we shared the outdoors in privacy. Hearing birds and the Cuchara River through open windows was a joy. Every bedroom is nice; there isn’t a bedroom that isn’t great. 'Staff were very helpful. The little extras that made the trip easier, like being able to purchase prepared food ready to go on the BBQ, was excellent. Also being able to rent sand boards for the dunes.'

'Entry to the room meant walking thru a wide 1/2 grass 1/2 mud backyard in the dark due to our 8 pm arrival! This meant of course, carrying a large suitcase rather than being able to use the wheels. For this reason, I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it '

'We stayed two nights on a trip to the Sand dunes… It was centrally located in Crestone, convenient to the market and coffee shop. Would stay here again. Not fancy, perfect for a Nice peaceful getaway. Beautiful views, you can’t beat Crestone. Be mindful there are stairs and grass to walk-through upon arrival. We very much enjoyed our time there.
