« The cabin was adorable but I didn’t realize the two person cabin had no bathroom. We were at the top of the hill and had to drive downhill to the bath house. Would have been nice to have a bathroom at least near our cabin to use at night. Also it was a surprise for the $200 deposit to come out the day before our arrival in addition to what we paid. Everything was clean and nice other than that. »

« Very nice home next to some of the best ice-cream around. It was equipped with everything we needed to host Thanksgiving. »

« You can actually hear yourself think out in this cabin. The view is amazing and there is wildlife to watch (take binocullars) If you need to get away from all the over stimulation of your life get this cabin, It is not close to anything so take what you really need and enjoy. We drive probably 20 minutes to a small town and had some good food take out but honestly we couldnt wait to get back, I suffer from insomnia and I listened to tree frogs and crickets and slept better than I had in years....

« Certainly a home away from home. All the necessities and then some, never slept in more comfortable beds! There were one set of neighbors that were worrisome domestically but otherwise very pleased with stay! »

« 5 of us met here for a long weekend..the house was impeccably clean and very comfortable! Loved the well-stocked kitchen and the hot tub, along with a convenient washer/dryer. The bed in the primary was super-comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of us. The location is across a small river from an industrial area..which was a little concerning pulling in..but once you get back to the house its lovely and secluded. »

« Enjoyed the peaceful environment, flowers and wildlife. Hosts were extra hospitable. They provided fresh fruit, eggs, milk, orange juice, chips and muffins. Fun to stay in such a historic place. »

« Great size place ,very secluded for time of the year. Parking is a lil tight for two trucks two boats bùt some great neighbors let us park one rig up the hill only down fall to any of it was no trash bags for the trash can ! Other then that they brought in a extra DVD player cause they said the other di t work ! We fish eat and sleep there dont really hang out so wasnt a issue at all but will use it again if available plus our friends booked there other place which is really nice two ! »

« I needed a place to stay while my daughter visited the Franciscan Campus. Very clean and nicely done for and older home. The K-cup coffee was a real treat and timesaver. The houses around the unit are run down but that is not the owners fault. »

« We absolutely loved our stay here. The pictures really don't do it justice. A number of people said that the rooms, especially the kitchen, were larger and nicer than the pictures seemed. It's in a very quiet and remote location. The driveway is easy to miss so drive slowly down the road. Google Maps directs you to where the house is closest to the road, not the end of the driveway, which is about 100ft from there. Note that there are exterior security cameras. « I can’t say that we’ve ever enjoyed a weekend getaway as much as this one. Staying on an active horse ranch submerged us into a whole different world. We learned so much about the horses and looked forward to going and seeing the horses throughout our stay. We will definitely be back!! »
