'Cons: Unfriendly manager, would not extend stay. 3 story building and no elevator!!! No room cleaning until you leave. No queen bed. Carry your own luggage to the 3rd floor. Imagine that! Pros:Close to stores, over all clean.'

'The staff were very friendly, and the room was clean, though a bit outdated. The shuttle bus to Bar Harbor Village Green runs frequently, making it easy to avoid parking challenges and fees. The location is excellent for exploring Acadia National Park. The property itself is spacious, with plenty of areas to walk our dog. We also enjoyed breakfast at the on-site restaurant, which offers beautiful views. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.'

I prepaid through Expedia, which unfortunately meant I had no flexibility when I discovered how unresponsive the property was. Despite multiple attempts to reach them, I never received a response. 'The staff was amazing! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. They let us park in the lot prior to check-in to go look around Bar Harbor since we arrived early. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and well stocked. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our time in Bar Harbor'

'Great location, but spend a little extra money and stay somewhere nicer. The room was musty. When you stepped on the floor on the bathroom, water would seep up through the laminate flooring. Not great. I also had to empty a dehumidifier which was already in the room - multiple times during our two night stay. I know humidity is an issue on an island, but it was literally sunny and 70 for the three days we were there.'

'Wonderful place to stay in Bar Harbor. Easy short walk to downtown, way less than 10 minutes, yet quiet location away from downtown noise and traffic. Easy access to Acadia. Cleanest room we've stayed in! Lovely pool, spacious grounds, easy parking. Given high cost of lodging in peak season in Bar Harbor, amazing value.'
