« Great property and location. The lake is beautiful. The host Shelby was awesome to work with. Had a small hiccup with the locks when checking in but he addressed it quickly. Property was very clean. Plenty of parking, we had room for 3 trucks with boat trailers and 2 other cars. There is lake access behind the house but it is a hike up/down the hill but that is normal for the area. »

« From the pictures on the site, I was expecting a secluded large ranch style property with a creek to fish in. The house sits right on the road, neighbors close by. If you want to stay indoors it’s a beautiful house but there is nothing to do outdoors because it was to hot for a campfire for s’mores. Maybe I just had my heart set on a cool creek for fishing. This isn’t on the property and has to be set up ahead of time on a different property. »

« It was sufficient for an overnight stay. A little small and was too warm for sleeping comfortably. But probably expected given Texas summers. The recommended eating place Georges Restaurant was excellent. Not ideal for walking a dog given no sidewalks. »
