'We stayed at Perched in the Trees to celebrate our anniversary. It was perfect! Such a lovely retreat that feels so far away and secluded, but is close to great food and attractions. We were especially impressed with our takeout dinner (the crab cakes were delicious!) from Jimmy Joy’s, which we enjoyed eating on the screened porch. 'This was a perfect place for my husband and I to unplug and reconnect with God, each other and nature. It was so quiet on the back porch we could hear the wings of the birds fluttering as they took off. '

'The term "hotel" is a little misleading as it is more like an inn where there is no hotel staff onsite. An innkeeper greeted us to check us in and give us a tour of the property. The room was very clean and comfortable. We also visited the onsite restaurant, which was lovely. The food was excellent! Unfortunately, there were no real options for breakfast in town and no shopping or entertainment. If you stay here, be prepared for a quiet night in.'

'This was our second time staying at this property. Obviously we loved it the first time. Our experience was just as good the avacation. The kids loved playing on the boat and going down the slides. They enjoyed the creek and paths in the woods and had many adventures with pirates, princesses and fairies. They enjoyed feeding the fish as well. Everyone, including the adults enjoyed the swings. The open floor plan allowed everyone to hang out in the evenings together, but socalizing. ...
