'There’s no way we can adequately describe how wonderful a place this is! My husband’s first words were how big the cabin is. Pictures don’t do it justice. It is obviously beautifully and very thoughtfully laid out. There’s the sleeping area, but also a whole living room space as well. We had a good time reading, playing guitar and studying in front of the beautiful window! Loved that we could get up and make a cup of coffee right away without leaving our cabin. 'My 12-year-old son and I loved our stay in the serenity loft. It was the accommodations closest to the bathroom and shower house and very centrally located to all the farm has to offer. Jim greeted us when we came and made us feel very welcome throughout. The serenity loft had utensils, knives, plates, bowls, glasses, tea cups as well as some measuring cups and storage containers. 'Cabin and property it is on is clean and well maintained. The walking trail is part of a local park so there are occasional walkers passing by on the trail. Overall it’s a good solid place to stay unless you intend to venture out beyond a one-mile radius. The surrounding area is repressed and comes with elevated risk as you pass though it. Crime rate statistics for Henderson are elevated compared to other areas in NC and I wish I would have researched it a bit more before bringing my family...
