'My son and I enjoyed a quick overnight stay in the hill view cabin. The staff was so friendly and welcoming to us when we arrived! We got to trek the trail next to our cabin and it was worth the quick trip up the hill. The cabin decking can use a little bit of a facelift but otherwise, everything was pretty simple and just what was needed. Would definitely return for a longer stay. '

'We only stayed for one night, but I imagine it's fun to stay longer to enjoy the facilities. The cabins are nice and comfortable, the view from the porch is not very exciting. The grounds are spacious.'

'The cabin was beautiful. The only thing I didn’t like are the 2 windows on top don’t have curtains to cover them up but other then that they were perfect. Don’t understand the “mandatory fee” for the rental.'

'Beautiful, peaceful and friendly! Our cabin was rustic but clean and comfortable. Our trail ride leader was knowledgeable, friendly and relaxed. Breakfast was delicious- amazing blueberry pancakes! Whole stay was really enjoyable. '

'I surprised my husband for his 60th Birthday! We loved staying here and it was so close to town! Everything was clean and comfortable! Woke up at 12:00 on Saturday night looked out and two deers were in the yard! Just amazing time'

'Owners were incredibly gracious when I locked my dog, my phone, and all of my belongings inside their cabin, and then promptly forgot the combination to get myself back inside. Thank you for allowing me to stay. It was as beautiful and peaceful as I hoped it would be, and I hope you will allow me to return soon. Thank you, I apologize, and God bless you for helping me!'

'The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...
