« After traveling all day we got to the Hillcrest only to find out they did not have all of our rooms. They tried to get us to share the room they had. No phone call to let us know ahead of time. No help in finding us another room. Their thought was that I reserved 4 rooms and they only had 3, that I should still take the 3 rooms because I reserved them. We ended up at going back north to a hotel we passed 30 miles before. Very unhappy that Expedia would even list this property. »

« Read property description completely!! It is a single family home. I didn’t notice in the description that the host would be staying in the basement. Apparently they have a “suite” down there. We woke up to voices in the house the first morning. I think it would have been less scary, and better if the host at least let us know they would be arriving in the night. The host was in the basement the entire duration of our stay. We’re retirees in our 60s. I probably wouldn’t have booked this property...

chose to eat food from the bar in the evening. It was very good. I will definitely stay at one of these hotels again. »
