'Sanctuary at Rum River was perfect for our large family get-together. All of the house was clean. Beds were very comfortable (even the bunk beds) bathrooms were well appointed. Kitchen was GREAT...nice to have everything labeled on the cabinets, and have plenty of dishware, glasses, coffee cups, and silverware. Good assortment of cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. Awesome to have the washer and dryer available. Theatre room in the basement was a great bonus. As well as having the garage...

'Place seemed like a work in progress instead of a finished vacation rental. No pathway lights by the sidewalk/steps leading down the house to light your path, had to use my cell phone flashlight to see where I was walking at night. Our bedroom door would not open or close without pulling so hard on it, and it made such a loud noise when you did that it would wake everyone up if you opened it at night. There was 1 kitchen towel, no hand towels for the bathroom, no rug for the entry door to...

'We had a great time with my wife and two young kids. Norbert took us out on his boat for 4th of July and was an absolute blast staying here. Nice lake. Big, well maintained yard. Very clean place and excellent host. Very close to a decent restaurant and loved its proximity to the Twin Cities while still feeling like we were “up north”. Would recommend! '
