'The waterfront views and location are the best things about this property. However, the unit is very dated and doesn’t match the price. The furnishings need updating, the A/C only worked by plugging it in or unplugging it, the Wi-Fi stopped working after the first day, and we had no hot water until maintenance reset the system. With some renovations and better maintenance, this could be a great place to stay.'

'Erg aan de prijs voor het gebodene: TV werkte matig, geen koelkast op de kamer. Het ontbijt is van 7 tot 10, maar dat was men vergeten te melden. Om 10:05 was alles opgeruimd en er niks eetbaars meer te krijgen. Het diner was duur en niks bijzonders er was weinig keus. Ik rekende 220 euro af voor verblijf en diner zonder ontbijt en dat is absoluut niet in verhouding met hetgeen geboden wordt.'

'Slaapgedeelte was prima, wel gehorig. Badkamer was niet schoon, hoeken ed waren vies en er was geen spiegel. Wel waren er nog restanten van lijm waar spiegel had gezeten had. Met inchecken moet je bellen. Het duurde een tijdje voordat eigenaar bereikbaar was. Als je dan zonder bereik bij een verlaten hotel staat, is dat niet zo fijn.'

'Was pleasantly surprised at how lovely and well maintained this property was. We stayed in room 8 which gave us our own balcony with chairs to enjoy our morning coffee. We also loved that they thought of everything robes for the hot tub, tea and Nespresso coffee , snacks and wonderful bath products . It is on the Main Street of Chéticamp which I hadn’t noticed in booking but it was a wonderful haven for our last night of our road trip nonetheless.'

'Denise and Alan are a wonderful couple who evidently love to host. Our room was spacious and comfortable and we even had cookies and chocolate waiting for us!! Breakfast was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our history presentation and live music while we were eating. 10/10 recommend this sweet place. We have stayed at other accommodations in Cape Breton that cost more and they didn’t hold a candle to this place!! We hope to come back some day.'

'My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this tiny home in Chéticamp. The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Despite its small footprint, it felt surprisingly spacious and well organized. The location was excellent, providing easy access to Chéticamp, the Cabot Trail, and Cape Breton Highlands National Park. 'Only had time to stay for one night, but it was a great stay. Exceptionally clean and well-appointed. A cozy spot that was perfect for our needs and a good place to rest while exploring the Cabot Trail.'

'Great little cabin for a nights stay in Pleasant Bay. The cabin is right off the main road so very little privacy. Hot tub, albeit small, was a nice touch'

' We loved our stay at the Big Intervale Fishing lodge. Everything was fabulous, the environment, the hospitality of Hermann and Ruth, the riverpool, our lodges and the excellent food (breakfast and dinner). We were sad we had to leave after two nights.
