'Captain Ron is absolutely the most wonderful host. It is an older boat with a retro 70s style! That is where the charm is for me! Any issues with being an older boat are way out-weighed by the charm of the boat, the beautiful natural area and a wonderful and interesting host! Sitting on the front of that boat, looking out across the water, the rest of the world melts away! I would say if you are a larger sized person, you would have difficulty getting up and down the stairs to the different...

'My son and I stayed at the Cabin Tucked Away while we attended the NHRA Virginia Nationals at the Virginia Motor Speedway. The cabin provided the perfect getaway from the track - a nice quiet location away from the spectacle. Thank you!'

'Amazing stay! This is a gorgeous cottage with no detail overlooked. Immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The backyard is such an awesome surprise with a pergola, outside dining, fire pit and outdoor furniture. You will truly feel like you are staying in a home and not a rental. Two adults and one pup-child enjoyed every minute of our wonderful stay!'

'This is a great, well appointed property in an easy to access location. The home was clean and neat, though we’d recommend fewer air fresheners as those aggravated some allergies. The front porch is great for morning coffee, and the quaint backyard was a lovely place for dinner. The home has everything you need; we’ll definitely consider staying again if we are in the area!'

'We were longtime residents of RVA and relocated and now come back 3-4 times a year to visit friends and family. This is the best short term rental that we have come across. Photos on website were very accurate to what we found in the house, clean, very comfortable, well stocked kitchen, and a great location for our needs. (Our old house is less than a mile away) This will be our go to spot for future trips.'

'My teenage son and I stayed here for a 4 day swim meet at SwimRva which was conveniently about 5 minutes away. The basement apartment was very clean and extremely well put put together!. The apartment was comfortable and my son certainly enjoyed the video games on the giant tv! Sharon was extremely communicative and even left out snacks for us every morning! I would highly recommend this property!'
