« The food service was not what I expected. Breakfast- eggs and bacon were not freshly cooked. Eggs tasted like powder eggs. Steak and cheese sandwich - meat was tough- seems it was re-grilled. Overall, place was clean and staff were great. Need better food service. Mostly senior citizens were in attendance, but only gave a senior discount on food on Mondays- we are seniors everyday of the week- given the prices and quality of the food they should rethingk this. « There are several long term renters. It’s a rough crowd. The lamp by the bed was busted. Water taps switched. Evidence of recent fumigation. It felt like someone had just moved out. I’m fine with less than standard accommodations but I felt like I was likely to be part of a crime scene. My wife warned me not to come home with bedbugs. « Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed! »

« Everything we expected and more. Visited relatively early in the Spring so we're coming back in June to make better use of outdoor dining, etc. The cabin was super cozy and we made full use of the hot tub and fireplace. We really enjoyed our stay. »
