In that, we scored with Penny's home in Quincy. Her home is truly beautiful and was designed for entertaining. « We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin! The cabin was extremely clean, had everything we needed (towels, bedding, basic kitchen supplies), and the ac unit kept up even in the heat wave we were experiencing (plus there are several fans you can move where desired). It has a beautiful view of the river, and the outdoor garden/patio space is stunning. The host even shared some tomatoes and peppers with us - yum! « Everything went so smoothly on check-in and the whole week. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, except kitchen scissors. A minor inconvenience. Laundry facilities were provided and worked great! The pool was heated and delightful So much so the baby napped floating in the pool. The young adults enjoyed all the gaming facilities. Played tennis and basketball at night when it was a little cooler. Remarkable memories were made! »

« I came in from out of town with a whole group of people. The owners were very friendly, & helpful. The house is sparkling clean, & very well equipped. We were even able to have a few people over for dinner! Checkin was a breeze. »

« My husband, myself, our son, daughter, son-in-law and 11 month old grandson stayed one night in Hannibal. The location was good, home was clean with nice size bedrooms. One bedroom and bathroom were on the main level. There are several steps to the second level which was fine or us, but if you have difficulty with steps be aware. The water pressure was not very strong when taking a shower, but worked for us. »

« Wonderful cabin. Well kept/clean, everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Secluded, perfect place to stay with our very vocal miniature schnauzer. There was nobody around for him to annoy with his barks of excitement! Saw lots of deer including a mama and her twins and one turkey. Enjoyed popcorn and listening to the records.
