With people living and walking around upstairs, the "white noise" machine worked wonders while trying to sleep.One negative, Being in the basement is already the coolest portion of the home, but when the residents upstairs like their rooms cool, it sure makes the basement that much colder. Nothing a good wrap around blanket can't fix. »

« From the pictures, the house appeared older but clean, which I was fine with. However, when I arrived, the experience was quite different. The first sign was when I used a washcloth and noticed makeup stains still on it.The final straw was when I took a shower and grabbed a towel, only to find it was dirty. « Very nice place to call our home base while exploring the area. We spent a considerable amount of time in Gibbon, Kearney and Grand Island. Very cozy and we loved the big farm dogs!! The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. They only thing would be anybody sleeping in the living room (teenage son) heard the interstate noise most of the night. »

« 1. There is no mention of stairs in the property description. We were a party of 4 seniors, and climbing 2 flights of stairs was difficult. Yes, you said there was no elevator, but failed to mention stairs.2. The bed sheets need to be replaced! They have been used so much that there are tiny fabric balls on the sheets. (See pics) »
