'Cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. What a gem of a location too! Tip, if you stay Sunday night, a lot of the fun restaurants are closed but there are still a few great ones open. Casa Alejo is so yummy! Everything about The Star is great! I can’t wait to come back.'

'The incredible water feature that runs through the middle of resort down to pool is not running and no plans to repair it which is a big disappointment. No music to speakers around pool anymore most of the time... when they do have it on it's too quiet to hear. Hitching Post menu was downgraded as well so no burgers and no lime margaritas which was also disappointing. Three or four big trees that provided shade to pool were also removed this year. 'We had issues with the bathroom sink spraying water onto the wall where the outlet was. Water pressure for the shower was not the best. Needs an updated showerhead. Place was clean and quiet. Overall not bad.'

'They wait until after you've started to check in to tell you they're putting an additional hold on your credit card. Which they have yet to release back to me in 2 weeks.'

'The room is great, has a mini stove to cook on and a full size kitchen sink. Host has provided a vast variety of kitchen necessities. Also had extra towels, pillows and blanket available. Table for eating at is adequately sized for 4 people.'
