« The hotel was nice, but the checkin was quite a pain. I booked via expedia.fr and within a few hours they send le an email since they didnt ubderstood sole french. So i specifically told them i booked a "2 single beds" room.
When i arrived with my colleague, they gave us a "1 double bed" room. We went back to the lobby and happily changed the room. Again, it was a "1 double bed" room... So we wemt back and they didnt found another room. So they suggested that one of us sleep on the sofa. I m not...

« Stayed at Hoopers Hotel for two nights with my wife and baby and had a really nice stay.
The room was comfy, we all slept well, and the sea view was lovely. Nice little touches with tea, coffee, snacks, and a ceiling fan to keep the room cool.
Even though it’s on a busy road, it was surprisingly quiet. Really good value for money. We would definitely stay again. »

« Probably this hôtel has seen better days but it is actually well maintained, besides some scratches in the carpets and broken screws. The façade is currently being renovated.
It is very well located in Swansea and easy to find
It was quite empty so rather calm when we were here.
The plus is definetly the extra super friendly and helpful staff. At the front desk and for the breakfast we had a wonderful experience, the people where super friendly and helpful.

« It sounds trite but this is truly a gem of a hotel. Beautiful location, quiet, lovely gardens, very comfortable room and first class service throughout the hotel, from welcome at reception to saying goodbye. Restaurant (Artisan Room) was very good, the staff here so very helpful and lovely with it. Food is fresh, local and well prepared and served. Could not fault it. Good wine list too. It's a beautiful old house and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. »

« Lovely building and room with a brilliantly big bed and view out of the balcony. There were just a couple of points which made it less than perfect. The waterfall shower was great however the normal shower head did not work which was irritating as I wanted to keep my hair dry. It was also advertised with Expedia as having a continental breakfast included. This was not the case. We had 2 small bottles of orange juice and a couple of small packets of cereal (like you find in a variety pack)...

« Accueil minimal, on arrive dans la chambre : fenêtre ouverte, pas de chauffage (Il fait 2° dehors) On allume, on attend...rien, on téléphone à la réception...ah oui, on va vous le brancher !!!! « Les chambres sont très agréables et spacieuses. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents, cuisinés avec de très bons produits. Le point noir c'est la situation de l’hôtel qui se trouve proche d'une autoroute urbaine ce qui mériterait des huisseries isolantes d'un point de vue phonique ce qui n'est pas le cas actuellement. »
