'I stayed at Secrets Papagayo in October when the resort was at 60% capacity, so it was pleasantly relaxed and never felt overcrowded. I’d read complaints about the shuttles, and it’s true that the steep layout makes walking around difficult. 'The property and staff were nice..A few take aways, 1) 3pm Check-in means 3pm no flexilbilty on that,, 2) After we checked-in the two specialty restaraunts were already booked up. for our entire stay..(our stay was from Mon_Fri.)...Bummer. 3)The resort sits on the side of a mountain, so the pool and beach are a distance..so you need to be in decent shape for the hike back..'

'The place is pretty cool! A unique stay. Definitely not a great place if you are planning on working since their WiFi is not the best. They do have a small coworking space but the lighting is kinda bad and bad WiFi as well. Aside from that, everything was great! The plunge pool was nice, the rooms nice and clean, and breakfast was small but good.'
