'This hotel was absolutely wonderful and made our trip to Engleberg so worth the detour we took to go there. The staff was excellent with the most note worthy service being provided by Freya and Lazio. We stayed in the Epoque room which was one of the loveliest beautifully appointed rooms with rounded windows but modern Scandinavian style furniture and a gorgeous up to date bathroom! And the bed was extremely comfortable. We had an outstanding experience and highly recommend this property. '

'The environment and distance to several "touristic" activities made it a sweet spot. The train leaves Engelberg to Lutern every hour (13:02 / 14:02 etc..) Going up by cablecar to Titlis was awesome (Go early 8 O'clock) to beat the busses filled with tourists (lol). Everything is to an extend automated so you dont see much of the staffmembers. 'Talking about a room with a view? Try to get room 22 or the one on the 3rd floor directly above for an astonishing view. The hotel itself is neat and clean, and including sauna and steambad, very nice! The breakfast buffet was up to our standard and the surroundings in the Swiss alps has been as always brilliant. 'Hier een nachtje verbleven voor doorreis naar Italië... Heerlijk ontbijt, goede bedden zeer vriendelijk personeel en alles was schoon en netjes. Op dit moment word er aan de overkant verbouwd, maar totaal geen hinder van gehad. '
