'Casa da Fonte is nestled in one of the sweetest villages within Gerês. This place was a good value for price. However, we had major issues with check in. We sent inquiries about check in days before and received no response. We didn’t get our check in information until after the check in time, forcing us to sit in a fierce, cold rain storm. The place smelled like cigarettes and the host is not on site/wasn’t responsive. However, we may have been a one off. Everybody has a bad day and we hope...

'The stay was really good. I was born in Guimarães so i know the area. The location was really good, right in the heart of the city. The apartment was really nice, with everything you need to jave a good thime and the AC was a must. The parking of the city is not ideal but not that bad neither and if you dont have a car or dont need the car too often, you can't find a better location to be in. Close to everything.... shopping, amusement areas, historic places, restaurants, night life... really...
