'It's a student halls of residence. If that's what you're expecting I would imagine you'd be very happy with the room. If you're expecting a hotel, it's not a hotel. It was exactly as I was expecting. Comfortable, no frills, perfectly fine for a one night stay for me. Wifi was great. A little bit of noise at times, it's student accommodation, but not too noisy by a long way. I recently stayed at the IBIS in Bristol and that was far noisier. Would happily book again for a short stay.'

'Absolutely loved staying at the retreat. Danny and Helen are extremely welcoming, nothing is too much trouble (even helped to fix my car) ((be careful reversing in and out of drive, can be quite tight)). 'Cleanliness of the property and facilities good. Description on sleeps upto to 4 and sofa bed inside Sky Pod 1 is incorrect. The sofa is a standard sofa and only contains a double bed. When questioned with host via email I was offered a mattress for hire. When I pointed out the accommodation is advertised as standard sleeps upto 4 and the accommodation is stated sky pod 1 with a sofa bed, I received no response. Also had issues with set up of the TV.
