It felt so luxurious! A full kitchen, a full living room, 2 gorgeous king bedrooms, 2 very clean bathrooms with soft towels, and in room laundry! Not to mention the balcony! I would definitely stay there again. It's in the middle of all of the activities and restaurants. The public parking for the beach is just across the road where there is an awesome little shop that you can buy candy, ice cream ,souvenirs and even beach accessories. Me and the fam enjoyed our stay!

The property, pool, restaurant and bar are great. The unit needs a lot of love: The carpeting is filthy, needs a good clearning. The small towel bar in the hall bathroom falls off the wall, the right bracket is broken. The bathroom off the master suite has no stoppers in the sink or tub. The shower curtain liner and window in tub are moldy. Sheers on all windows are dirty and worn. The sliding door tracks need to be cleaned and rollers replaced, very difficult to open. Needs new living room furniture and dining room chairs. We sat on pillows since we sank almost to the floor when we sat down. Based on the current condition of the unit, I would not stay there again.

A little something for everyone

The Palms Resort is perfect for a family vacation. Lots of amenities like gorgeous pools and hot tubs, fun bar with outdoor games, gym and an adorable coffee shop. It is also walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

Great stay with all you need

Property had all we needed. Well furnished and amazing views and location. Only negative was a slow master bed bathroom sink drain, but not a deal breaker at all.

Getaway

Everyone loved the pool area!!! Great location to beach and everything else. Bathroom sink drain clogged. Black mold in one bathroom. Lots of towels which was nice! Kitchen set up was good. We had a lovely time, just needs some deeper cleaning and updates.

Terrible Management

Condo itself seemed fairly clean, but they had mold by the ac vents. Hallways and elevators smelled like urine. Management was horrible! There was an incident at the pool and we could not get in touch with management. Jeremy was his name, and he was extremely rude once he was contacted. The weather was clear and they would not open the pool!! Any time Jeremy was contacted, he would hang up the phone.

Pleased with the location and amenities of the resort! Had a wonderful family vacation here. Large pool is not heated though. Unit could have been cleaner. There was a lot of mildew buildup on the master bath ceiling and stained linens.

Palms was a beautiful place . Loved the golf.

Our place was beautiful . Till you sat and looked around the carpet was very dirty. The kitchen floor was black we wiped it up. We wrote in book . And the last people that stayed there in 2019 said the same thing. The facility was great . All in all we injoyed our stay . And also on the last day when I flung back my sheets on the bed there was a big fuzzy black hairball in my sheets it grossed me out had no idea it was there till I turned back the sheets probably came from too much stuff in the dryer but it was not pretty. Condo was amazing, very clean. The amenities were amazing, pool bar, coffee shop, gym. Great location. Would highly recommend this place, its also very family oriented.

Lovely Unit. Exactly as advertised.

We’ve stayed at the Palms of Destin many times over the years but this is the first time in this unit. We were initially concerned regarding the proximity of the unit to the elevators and stairs but those concerns quickly disappeared as we weren’t able to hear anything once inside the unit. The unit is tastefully decorated and is very inviting and we were instantly comfortable in our home away from home. Everything was clean, tidy and well organized. My husband and I both are very particular when it comes to our lodging and we were very pleased and comfortable the entire stay! Per the recommendation of the property, we brought our own essential items but we really didn’t need to as the unit was well stocked with toiletries for our stay (paper products). We have no “cons” about staying in the unit other than I wished it was weather warmer so we could enjoy the balconies a bit more. One last mention, the fire detectors were beeping when we entered the unit which signaled they needed to be changed. A quick trip to the store and the purchase of 2 batteries did the trick and all was right in the unit. In summary, we strongly recommend the rental of this unit and if possible, we will absolutely stay here again!
