The bathrooms had mold in the showers and bathtubs did not look clean. The unit needed some updating. Furniture was very old and not very comfortable. beach view was very nice standing on the balcony, but was very awkward having two chairs that were not very comfortable and a picnic table really limited our use of the balcony for four of us to sit out there comfortably and enjoy ourselves. someone had to sit on a picnic table Edge to see over the balcony and the chair set way too low so we did not get to use the balcony as we had anticipated sitting and enjoying coffee or a drinks. We had Plumbing issues but the host replied immediately on anything we had a question on a couple of the toilet paper holders were broken on top of having some toilet problems that took a couple times to fix. A nice updating and some comfortable Furniture would have made our stay a five-star stay.

The room was not clean. There was a toenail behind one of the beds and behind the beds were dusty. I contacted owner and he showed up to fix the outlets but didnt take care of the toenail or have the room cleaned better. The cauk on the balcony was coming off/melting off a lot.

Nice size condo for family. Amenities were good for a family. The master bedroom did not have window coverings at the top letting sunrise hit room too early. Master bath drain woulld not go down. Hot water was an issue so we needed to stagger showers. I would definitely rent it again if those items would be addressed.

We were pestered all week being accused of having a dog in the condo. We did not! We had to change several plans because they kept saying they were sending maintenance to us but we did not want them to come in with just the 3 kids there (ages 15, 12 and 11) so we were stuck in the place and they never showed up - this was 2 days in a row. The people in 650 just below us had a dog - it was on the porch often. We also saw several people walking dogs into the building. My son said to one guy "I thought dogs weren't allowed" and he said I'm the owner, I can do what I want. Pretty rude. Anyway, the person texting us was very kind but whoever kept calling saying they were coming to check was rude and never showed up. We finally felt comfortable enough to leave the kids there and told them not to answer the door if anyone knocked. So all in all, the condo itself was very nice but whoever kept threatening us about having a dog was rude as can be - and obviously didn't know what they were talking about since we didn't have one!

VERY OUTDATED NEEDS UPDATES

THE DRYER WAS NOT DRYING AND WE KEPT HAVING TO UNPLUG IT TO RESTART, FRIDGE WAS NOT KEEPING COLD EITHER. UNIT WAS JUST VERY OUTDATED , COULD NOT USE ONE OF THE TUBS FOR GIVING BABY A BATH AS THE DRAIN WAS TORE UP AND NOT PLUG FOR IT. NO CHAIRS CAME WITH UNIT AND CHAIRS WERE 55.00 PER DAY. WAS NOT AS CLEAN AS I WOULD HAVE LIKED . AGAIN VERY OUTDATED FLOORING, TILE SO IT MADE THE TUBS AND SHOWERS LOOK UNCLEAN. HARDLY ANYTHING THERE TO COOK WITH AS FAR AS DISHES.

Wonderful mini vaca with my adult kids!

Jade East is one of my favorite condos in Destin. You can’t beat the location! This condo was great and met all of our needs. Beds were SUPER COMFORTABLE! Kids want to book the same one in October!

Awesome view and location

We had an awesome vacation! The condo was spacious with the best beach views! I would definitely recommend this place. The property amenities were great and well maintained. The condo was clean, but in need of some minor repairs, including the baseboards in the kitchen and the rust stains in one of the bathrooms. The size of this unit with the three bedrooms with on suite bathrooms and the washer and dryer, made it perfect for our family.

Condo was clean & the location was good. The only issue we had was that the living room furniture was not comfortable & needs to be updated. The washing machine sounds rough & probably needs to be replaced also. The beds were comfortable.

Used for my Bach trip and had plenty of room! Close to restaurants don’t was easy to go out. Only issue we had was that there was sand in the sheets and they just made the bed over the sandy sheets, that was an easy fix though!

Good spot, roomy, read on for more

The property itself was great. Location is perfect- restaurants, beach access, the Track, etc. Here are some good things to know: It ain’t fancy. In 2002 when the couch was new and all that- it was probably top of the line. Fridge really is not cold at all upon arrival. It really does take a long time to cool down. The king bed was great- other rooms were just okay. The springs in the couch are uncomfortable but we didn’t spend a lot of time on the couch. The TVs didn’t have the right cable box so only the one in living room and one bedroom worked. We brought a fire stick luckily so that was handy! As for dishes… they have pots and pans and glass stuff. Bowel, colander, coffee pot, toaster, blender, a few Tupperware things and a big pitcher. Salt and pepper. There are a couple of cutting boards. Plenty of plates, coffee cups, utensils, etc. No dish towels or pot holders but we made do. We took extra: trash bags, seasonings, toilet paper. Dish soap. Close the doors to the bedroom that has laundry when it hits the spin cycle- it’s real loud but didn’t bother us. It was a great place we would 100% stay again. I just had it in my head that we would list what they have so other people would have a heads up.

Beautiful Views!

You cant beat the view from the balcony! We even saw dolphins one morning. Good location, close drive to restaurants and shopping. The kids loved the pool! The building was quiet, couldn’t hear your neighbors through the walls. Would have liked some beach accessories, such as chairs/umbrellas and maybe even some kids toys for people who fly in and don’t want to spend the extra money to rent chairs. The kitchen was stocked bare minimum, only one pan to cook with. Small details make a big difference, but it didn’t stop us from having a great week! Thanks for sharing your space!
