Great vacation

The stay was great. This was our first visit to Destin and had to learn a few things about Destin. Had s small check in issue but the new security guard working that day helped us to resolve it. We would definitely stay again

I would NOT ever recommend this place!!!

Unit 9 was absolutely disgusting. The sheets and blankets were dirty, the back door latch was broken, carpet was stained and disgusting, the toilet wed dirty and the shower had an old bar of Soap in it, there were dirty socks behind the tv, the closet door was broken, the shelf in closet was falling off the wall, the towel rack is falling off the wall, the Silverware drawer in the kitchen is broken, the microwave was broken. This place was absolutely disgusting amd we are so very disappointed. I’ve emailed the office twice and have yet to hear from anyone. Do not stay there!!!!!

Reviewer Comments: I have stayed here around 8 times over last 8 years never dealt with such rude staff and filthy condo! absolutely my worst stay in Florida anywhere. staff didn't know there was a laundry on site then led about why there was no change for them on property it was like a flop house...very disappointed

Condo needs to be upgraded..

Rating Details: The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My stay in unit 9 was somewhat disappointing. Needs major upgrade. Bathroom needs upgrading. Kitchen has the smallest stove I have seen in a while. A decent size pan will not fit on the tiny burners. Oven way to many extension cords need more outlets. I have stayed at Silver Dunes for over 15 to 20 years, so I expected to have a more updated condo. Everything else the grounds, the beach service, the employees are great. Your survey should not have only 2 selections very dissatisfied/very satisfied. You can be somewhat satisfied. I will again be staying at Silver Dunes next July.

The pull out bed was to sleep my 3 and 6 year old and it was broken so we were offered blow up mattresses. I am not sure where they would fit in the condo, so we ended up moving to a 2 bedroom and paying way more.

Stopped in to visit Mary-Lou (very friendly and pleasant) at the front desk with minor things to note owners about (Replacement of pans, and MATTRESS!) I bought and left foam mattress for unit 9 hope next guest enjoys it. Staff & security were great..... We will visit again BUT not in the summer!!!!

Best stay in Destin, Florida yet!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Me and my mother stayed in Unit 9, ground level floor so at nights it was a little disturbing because of other people around us. Clean room, bathroom, full kitchen, and even had all the utensils we needed for the kitchen and to take food to the beach with us! Next stay I would get a room with washer and dryer unit because we ended up needing to wash our swimsuits and of course be closer to the ocean than the Highway, other than the stay was amazing! We will be back within the next few years. And one more thing was not being able to check in right until 4 which was fine, but if you have small children I wouldn’t recommend leaving early unless you have other plans when getting there!
