    Welkom bij Captains Quarters! Dit onlangs gerenoveerde strandresort ligt in het Green Reef Townhome-complex en is ideaal voor een uitje met het gezin! Met drie afzonderlijke verdiepingen met elkaar verbonden door uw eigen privélift, geeft deze accommodatie iedereen in uw groep zijn eigen ruimte terwijl het samen tijd aanmoedigt en herinneringen op het strand maakt. Gasten worden begroet door een helderblauwe ingang die leidt naar de open conceptkeuken, eet- en woonkamer. De gloednieuwe, roestvrijstalen keuken is compleet met prachtige granieten aanrecht, en een gastronomische oven en bereik. De keuken opent via de bar met drie krukken naar het zitgedeelte met twee aangrenzende eettafels. Eén zitplaats vier en ��én zitplaats zes. De nieuwe, grote doorsnede die overeenkomt met het water in de golf, kijkt uit op de enorme flatscreen-tv en de grote ramen met een prachtig uitzicht op de golf.

    De woonkamer komt uit op een groot balkon met een eettafel voor zes personen. Leidt vervolgens naar de benedenverdieping. De begane grond van het apparaat heeft een kleine woonkamer met een grote flatscreen-tv en een kitchenette met grote koelkast en magnetron. In de gang naast de keuken zijn twee slaapkamers. Een met twee sets van twee stapelbedden en een met een kingsize bed. Aan het einde van de hal is een complete badkamer met een inloopdouche en dubbele wastafel.

    De bovenste verdieping van het apparaat heeft twee slaapkamers met kingsize bed. Een daarvan is de meester met een grote badkamer met een inloopdouche en prachtig uitzicht op de Golf. De andere is compleet met een badkamer met een douche-badcombinatie. Loop de treden van het achterdek af en je tenen zijn in het zand. Deze accommodatie ligt op loopafstand en bijna precies tussen de Destin Commons en de Silver Sands Outlet Mall. Het is de perfecte plek om te ontspannen en te genieten van familie die levenslange herinneringen maakt.

The townhome was amazing. Plenty of room for my family, clean, and the beach was great!! The best thing was the great communication. The personal phone call before, arrival, and departure was excellent. We will be using this townhome again!

The property was exactly as listed. Beautiful views with wonderful beach access. We never left the property! Having bedrooms on the 1st and 3rd floors with the main living space in between was exactly perfect for us. Check in was easy as pie. We needed maintenance service during our stay for the elevator but it was smooth and easy.

Lovely Stay

Very roomy for a large family... literally steps from the water. Lots of beautiful views and walking distance to a couple great restaurants! Would def stay again!

The location is great. Awesome view and right on the sand. No need to get in a car or cross any roads to get to the beach. The unit is older so has some wear and tear but overall it was a great experience.

Great house with great views at great location

This property has all you expect on a beachfront house and more, furnishing are comfortable and clean as wells as well maintained also has high speed WiFi and smart TVs in all bedrooms. Will definitely considered on our next trip to Destin.

Great vacation rental in Destin!

My family and I have spent many years vacationing in Destin and this is by far our favorite spot! Very nicely decorated townhome with great layout right on the beach! Not anything I would change at all. Solely Beachfront was great to rent from...always very nice and knowledgeable! Easy walk to both both crab trap and Capt Dave's!

The view was beautiful and check-in was easy. That is the only positive I have. The rental was dirty(in spite of being cleaned). There was still sand on the floor and utensils in the dishwasher. My grandchildren’s knees and feet were black within 30 minutes of playing on the rug. The furniture did not feel clean. The upstairs master bath had a mushroom growing out of the baseboard at the shower entrance. Housekeeping was notified . The lady was nice and spray bleach. There was black mold in all 4 showers. The upper bunks only had a comforter and sheets had not been put in the beds. The pictures that are on VRBO are not accurate. Those are from it being renovated some time ago. There’s missing paint on cabinets. The master bedroom only had blinds and nothing in the loft windows. So at sunrise, the room was completed bright. The only way to access the downstairs from inside is an elevator and it was delicate. Toilets were slow to flush and there were cardboard shims on the water in the shower to help with leaking. There was hair in both upstairs bathrooms. I cleaned bathrooms and kitchen right after we arrived. I will say in my 30 years of rentals this was by far the worst.

We had high hopes for this property. Unfortunately it wasn’t as advertised. Captains Quarters needs some serious maintenance. The house leaked and the bottom porch fell in on our 2nd day there. They refunded us 1078.03. Granted it was storming but that’s not why the porch fell in. That was due to rotting plywood and rotten decking. I do not feel we were refunded enough for not being able to use the bottom porch due to safety reasons. The grill was down there which caused us to have to eat out way more than we had anticipated which in turn cost us more . Also we had to pick wood and nails out of our beach belongings from the porch incident and throw away 2 of our beach chairs. Now on to the leaks, the living room has soft wood beam across the middle that has been leaking for some time from the master bedroom French doors. I definitely would recommend some serious maintenance. The living room furniture was not as advertised. There was no sectional. There were 2 electric recliners(that didn’t work) and a normal 3 person sofa. We will not be revisiting and I most definitely feel they owe me more of a refund.

Excellent Stay

Loved our visit to Destin and the Captain's Quarters. The location was easy to get to and the view was magnificent. Our party of 10 had plenty of room. Direct beach access was fantastic. There were a few things that could be fixed - the smell of mildew that traveled home with us, replacing the rusted/mildewed vent covers, and the elevator. However, the maintenance guy, who we got to know well, was quick to fix the elevator issue, which was never much more than resetting a button. These were minor things in comparison to the great time we had. We are considering renting again!

Perfect location- small issues with home

You get what you pay for with the view and location alone! Perfect spot, safe neighborhood, private beach. We did have a few issues with the condo. There was mold/mildew on the vents in the ceiling and we also found cockroaches. Now…I did reach out to the host and had amazing communication as well as them sending out maintenance to clean the vent area and lay roach traps. There were little things I did not report as I didn’t want to bother the host, such as the ceiling fan in the living room is off balance so when it’s on it is super loud and sways around. Another thing, the front storm door does not shut unless it’s locked. Neither of these things I felt necessary to report as they did not impact our stay at all. Like I mentioned before, location is key…host was responsive and great to work with. I do feel there are little things that need worked on however our stay was great and we had a fantastic time!

Incredible beachfront gathering place for our family!

We were in the area to visit my son who is stationed nearby. The space was perfect for my husband and I along with our other adult son and girlfriend. We had plenty of space to host my airman son and his wife while we played games and had family dinners on our deck with the incredible view of the water right in your backyard, so to speak. The location on the beach just doesn't get any better. Granted, it was early March, but that area of the beach was not highly trafficked at all. The sandbars helped keep the waves to a very pleasant level, especially great if you have little ones. And the included beach service is a definite bonus! The sunset views from the decks were all beautiful as well! The townhome itself is very nice. It's very spacious and great for entertaining or providing livable space even for a large group. There are a few places where the home shows its age just a bit, but overall the pros greatly outweighed the cons. My one and only suggestion to the owners is to replace the old shower heads in the bathrooms! The only bathroom to have one was the main floor bathroom where there weren't even sleeping quarters! A home this nice deserves better showers. A removable shower head/wand makes a huge difference and feels much more high end. It's a minor expense to invest in a better shower experience for people paying good money to stay there. We also had a minor issue with the elevator upon arrival, but it was promptly handled the following morning with a temporary solution for that night. Communication was excellent in all aspects regarding the small problem as well as every other aspect of the reservation, pre-trip info, check in and check out. All-in-all, a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. I was torn between the Very Good & Excellent ratings. I'd leave a 9/10 rating if possible! Hi Cindy! Nice but not great

The unit is not as nice as it looks in the images. Very worn. Main floor AC would only cool to 78 during the day and 75 at night. Master bedroom was cooled by this unit so it was always hot. Downstairs AC unit stopped cooling below 74 in the middle of our trip. The owner tried to make it right by brining in portable units. Helped a little on the main floor but not so much in the master. It was hot the entire trip.

Amazing Views

The property had amazing views and the beach was perfect. The parking is a little tight, but if you back in it was much easier. The house was just like it shows in the pictures. Great Place!

Perfect location on private beach

This was our first VRBO experience and it was a good one! The location for this townhouse was perfect. We had a really rainy week, so it was nice to be so close to the water to get in as much beach time as we could between storms. A few things to note: - there are several beach towels and toys at the property to use and the spray hose on the deck was great - the exterior doors/handles are a little difficult to use some times and could use a little refresh or WD40 - if you prefer a dark room, don’t choose the gorgeous upstairs room with private deck and sunlights (or get a sleep mask to avoid the 6 am sunrise) - we had 3 issues onsite and the staff responded quickly each time (elevator issue, a leak with all of the rain, some “water bugs” inside) - bring a flashlight to search for crabs on the beach at night, so fun! - the pots/pans weren’t spectacular, so we ended up getting food out more than we planned - the deck furniture was great - bring some board games or cards just in case you don’t get a picture perfect week- there is plenty of space to hang out and play The house really was as it looked online and the beach and water were amazing. It was a simple check in process and great communication from staff. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect townhome right on the beach!

This was a perfect stay for our yearly friends vacation. You get your own section of the beach so you always have a spot and it’s not crowded. It’s not far from many restaurants and an easy quick drive to Publix if you need a grocery restock. It was super easy to contact them if you have any issues and for check in/check out. Only suggestion I would have is to have the kitchen more stocked with staple items like basic seasonings, nonstick cooking spray, plastic baggies for leftovers etc. All we had for basics was salt and pepper. Overall, would definitely stay here again!
