Nice location at the end of a cul-de-sac. The house inside was absolutely gorgeous. The beds were comfortable. Everything worked had such a well stocked kitchen pretty much thought of anything and everything you would need my 90-year-old parents really liked the master suite and it was easy for them to get in and out of the house being that itโ€™s primarily on the one level.

The 2-year old house was nicely appointed and was spacious, clean and located near our venue. On day 2, the dryer stopped working but was repaired by the end of the day. On day 3, the guest toilet started leaking at the bottom of the tank, but by screwing the washing screws tighter, it was resolved. The patio screen door was unuseable. However, I am still miffed over Host Mike not honestly responding to my messages regarding his ability to accept or deny a downpayment with a final payment rather than paying all up front 9 months in advance.

Thanksmas Celebration

My husband and I rented this property to stay at while we traveled to Ames to celebrate the holidays with family and attend an ISU football game. Our kids and grandson were coming in from KC and Idaho, so we needed a larger home with room for gathering and celebrating our own little Christmas as well. We were pleasantly surprised by The Cove and would recommend! Safe neighborhood, relaxing atmosphere and proximity to Ames, Ankeny and DM areas!

Incredible Place!

This house is spacious, immaculate and seemingly brand new. It was the perfect space for our seven older adults but would be great for families with children as well. Everything you need is in both the kitchen and bathrooms. Beds are very comfortable with soft, luxurious linens. Plenty of very nice pillows. Towels are thick and fluffy. Close proximity to Polk City, Ankeny, and Des Moines, in a quiet family neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect Place for a Family Getaway

Our group consisted of infants to adults, and everyone had a great time. There was more than enough space for everyone (we used the air mattress provided) and the 3 full bathrooms was a great added bonus. The house is in a quiet residential area. We went boating at the Saylorville Lake Marina, which is less than a mile away. We also had a day at Big Creek Park and Living History Farms. I also recommend the ice cream place in town. The grocery store is conveniently close too. Overall the place was very clean, everything looked brand new, and we are looking forward to coming back.

50th Anniversary Family Weekend

This was the perfect home in a great location for our family to gather to celebrate our parents' 50th anniversary! There was plenty of space for all 14 of us to stay under one roof. The home was immaculate! We enjoyed being able to grill our meals on the deck. Family disc golf and baseball games were played just a short drive away.
