'This was our first time in Waikiki and we were very happy with the hotel! It's a bit old and outdated, but we got everything we needed: comfortable bed, clean sheets, WiFi, mini fridge, microwave and valet parking. What I loved the most was the staff! JR was delightful and the reception was amazing! Also the location is perfect! Close to the freeway and a 10 min walk to Waikiki beach. Will definitely come back next time! :) '

'we really enjoyed our stay at the white sands hotel. the staff was very friendly, and the hotel was well located downtown for a very reasonable price. our room took a little long to get ready (past check in time) but one of the managers more than made up for it by kindly giving us $50 food/drink credits. great service, great hotel and would absolutely recommend!'

'I really liked the friendly service and the cosey hotelbar. The room was o.k. and clean when we arrived, but for me housekeeping came a little bit to early in the morning. I've mentioned that a couple of times at the receptiondesk but still they came at 8 am in the morning. So after a couple of days we hang up the do not disturb sign until we left the room (usually between 9 and 10 am) but they never came back at a later time so there was no more cleaning after that.
