This was an extremely difficult stay due to extreme high winds that knocked out electricity and the water pump. Brandon, the host, did give us about a three-hour heads-up and initially expected the issue to be resolved by 8 PM. Unfortunately, the problem was not fixed until the following week—five days later.On the first day, we informed him that we could not stay under those conditions, which is why we requested a refund.We end up staying somewhere else during the trip.Due to the cabin begin uninhabitable , especially considering the lack of heat, lights, and water. This also raised safety concerns, particularly for women, and was even more serious given that my partner is diabetic.We paid a significant amount for what should have been a comfortable stay in a beautiful location, but the conditions made that impossible. Although we requested a full refund, we did not receive the full amount and are unsure why.Overall, this experience was exhausting and frustrating. While the situation may have been outside of anyone’s control, we did communicate our concerns immediately.
