The house has a great location close to downtown Decorah. It was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Hosts were super nice snd great communicators. We will definitely stay again!

Great little place for a weekend in Decorah. The home is so spacious and conveniently located near everything downtown to be able to walk. The hosts were very responsive and answered all of our questions. The kitchen had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this rental.

Dolly's Place is clean, spacious, comfortable and wonderful. And Decorah is a delightful and fun town with delicious food and drink, beautiful history and scenic surroundings. We had such a great visit, thank you!

Girls week

We all loved it and can’t wait to plan another trip to the area. The property was exceptionally clean and adorable, close to downtown so we did a lot of walking, shopping and eating. The place felt like home and owners were great, exceeded all expectations!

I rented this house to stay at because my family went to a reunion in a city nearby. My family told me that I did an excellent job picking out the house. Everything was very clean. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and eating. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching people go by. There is a deck right off the kitchen, which was handy for meals. The house has been remodeled but they kept the original trim work and buffet. The house is close to downtown, and we walked around checking out the shops and the beautiful homes in the area. There is a lot to do in Decorah and the surrounding area. We want to come back sometime.

Dolly's was spotless and had everything we needed. It was 2 blocks to downtown Decorah--fantastic location. Bruce was very responsive. We hope to come back some day

Dolly’s House

Just what we were looking for. Lots of room and the front porch was great. Everything was as advertised and the location was close to everything . Would recommend this property for anyone looking for space and a great location in Decorah.

Such an adorable house. It was perfect for our group. Easy to find and within walking distance to fun shops and restaurants. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Great location, beautiful hpuse!

Dolly’s was the perfect place for my family together, all from different areas. The house is beautiful, with the front porch to drink coffee on and the back patio with a lot of room for people to hang out on. Location is perfect for every place. You would want to go in Decorah. We loved our stay, and will be back!

Great spot

This property was spotless. Plenty of room for 4 families to gather. We rode bikes, went to parks, shopped, walked to restaurants. Wonderful hosts; loved it.

Carefree and Relaxing

Ideal get a way. Shout out to Katleen & Bruce for having everything perfect for us to turn the key and enter into a carefree and relaxing weekend. This property’s location was perfect for shopping & experiencing downtown Decorah. Exceptionally clean!

Wedding weekend

Dolly,s Place was fantastic. Exceptionally clean. Kitchen was large well stocked and perhaps the nicest I've ever seen in a rental. Private and quiet. Two blocks from downtown. Two blocks from a grocery store. Many extras provided. We were in town for a wedding and could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend Dolly's to anyone.

Great Stay

Have stayed in houses before. This is the first one that didn’t have a laundry list of jobs that had to be done before we left. Didn’t even have to strip the beds or wash the dishes or towels! Home was clean and definitely comfortable. Very happy!

Our group consisted of six (nearly 70 y.o. but able to take the stairs) high school friends now living in four different states who came to Decorah for the purpose of catching up with one another and seeking the feeling of "being at home" (like in the olden days when we were growing up) while being away from home. Dolly's Place met and exceeded our expectations!! Note the "Five Star" (Excellent) ratings given for cleanliness, ease of check-in (VERY), host communications (SUPERB), and price appropriateness for all that was offered - including the neighborhood setting (SO PLEASANT) and the convenience of being able to walk to the downtown area (only a couple blocks).Favorite moments: Being able to prepare food (kitchen was well-stocked) and serve it on a lovely dining table large enough for all the food AND for the six of us to gather around. AND sitting on the front porch well into the evening - comfortable chairs and convenient side tables for beverages. This is a property that has an old-fashioned charm (and clearly lots of "good energy" infused) with all the modern updates. The group agreed that it would be their first choice for a future stay in Decorah.

Great Stay

Dolly's place was a great home to host family for our daughter's graduation from Luther College. We had the grandma's with us, so the first floor bedroom and bathroom worked really well for one that has trouble with steps. House was beautiful and had everything we needed. We were able to walk downtown for coffee Saturday morning and a little shopping. We have fallen in love with Decorah over the last few years. We will definitely return to Decorah and Dolly's Place in the future!

Polly’s has so much character and lots of charm. The house had plenty of space for a group of people. The owners were great to work with. I loved the house!
