Title: Property Needs Significant Cleaning and MaintenanceUpon arrival, an upstairs bedroom had a broken plastic insert for the window AC, leaving a gap where bees, flies, and beetles entered. We cleaned the upstairs and sealed it ourselves. Insects were found throughout the house.Several kitchen items, including utensils, needed washing before use. The stove area and nearby walls had grease buildup, and the gas stove lacks an overhead vent. Mice droppings were found in the kitchen. Some listed amenities, like TVs and utensils, were missing or unusable.The hot tub water was cloudy with debris. The pond had heavy algae and an odor with visible discharge nearby, so we didn’t feel comfortable having the kids near it. Some bedrooms lacked AC and smoke detectors; some bathrooms had no ventilation. The deck was unstable with loose railings. Extension cords powering AC units and pool equipment caused circuit trips.Listing photos include current and older images with different layouts and finishes, which may confuse guests.One bedroom had beetles in the bedding; mice were heard at night downstairs. Bathroom drains were slow, and broken items were stored in closets and above cabinets.The pool was as described, but overall, the property needed more cleaning and maintenance than expected from the photos.
