B&B in Daventry

'It is truly a unique experience in a marvellous town. The family room is at the far end of the pub, private and still you can mingle with the pub crowd if you want too. The bus to Oxford (once per hour in the weekend) stops in front of the pub, an absolute plus. There’s only room for four cars at the parking so get in there in time. If you have a dust allergy it’s better to chose something else. This is a couple of hundred years old environment; it’s prown to have dust. '

'Great service from check in, around the bar and check out. Room was perfectly clean, clean bathroom with powerful shower. Extremely comfy bed and amazing pillows! There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room but free tea and coffee in the bar for members and it actually got you out of bed and up so this wasn’t an issue! Close enough to the arena to drive or taxi there, was around 5 miles, and the taxi cost £8. Amazing host, already pre booked another stay.'

'Everything you need in a b and b, we had a kettle and mini fridge in the room however take your own bowl and spoon if you want cereal in your room! Clean, comfy bed and convenient for visiting family in Nuneaton . Didnt use room service or visit restaurant.'

'What a lovely little find. 5 mins off the M1, but set in the grounds of an old vicarage and very quiet and tranquil. Lovely welcome from the owners, shown my room which was lovely and spotless. Shared kitchen area had everything, cooker, fridge, coffee machine… basically everything you need. You can use the garden area which had seating and tables which was lovely just to listen to the peace and quiet in the sunshine. 'Very convenient in the middle of Stratford Upon Avon. 10min easy walk from train station. Friendly staff. Comfy room and bed. Stairs are steep so if you have mobility restrictions could be a little awkward but not many steps and I had no issue with it. Some noise in the morning around 7.30am with keg delivery for the pub downstairs which woke me but if you're an early riser that wouldn't be an issue and was niyand peaceful the rest of the time. Overall an excellent stay and I'll be back!'
