This is our second time staying at the Paradise in the Pines property. We enjoyed our stay just as much as our first trip. The property and amenities are just as described in the listing. The hosts are easy to communicate with. The house sits not far from the beach and the location is convenient for other activities on the island. We look forward to staying here again.

If you are looking for a clean, quiet, and relaxing location. This it.. The location of this place is ideal. Tucked away from the main traffic area. The island is not overcrowded and it’s very quiet and easy going. The beaches were clean and plenty of room to spread out.

We had a wonderful time at Dauphin Island. It was my husband and I and my daughter's family. Our three young and active grandsons really enjoyed playing on the patio area when it rained. We enjoyed the beautiful house. Thank you!

Great quiet stay

We enjoyed the island and the home. It was as described and was tucked away in a quiet street, but close to everything. Would definitely stay here again!

Trip to Dauphin Island

The property was just a listed very cozy, clean and located on a quiet street in the middle of the island. I highly recommend this house if you are visiting Dauphin Island.

Amazing property and Island to stay at. Beaches arent packed. Island resturants are great. Friendly folks all around. And plenty to do.Property comes with everything to make you feel as though you were at your own home making for a wonderful stay.

Best VRBO ever. I’ve stayed at several different houses at Dauphin Island, but after staying here, I’m ruined. I’ll definitely be returning. House was beyond clean, charming, spacious and homey. Just beautiful.

Wonderful time in the Pines!

My father, boyfriend, and I had a wonderful visit at Dauphin Island and enjoyed staying here. It was our first time staying in the Pines vs the beach but it was so relaxing and the house had everything we needed. 10/10 would recommend and will be back!

No property beach access

It was good, house was excellent, well stocked with cooking ,bath accessories, clean. Just thought there was access to beach by seeing wooden walkway,but it was of bird sanctuary. Had a good stay.

Restful Retreat 🙂‍↕️

Very pleased with the decision to book a stay here. This place is incredibly clean and neat, spacious, equipped with all of the convenient amenities, and located in a peaceful neighborhood. We both have high-stress jobs and ultimate relaxation is paramount on our vacations, which is exactly what the Island Retreat Cottage provided us. Very grateful to the hosts for prompt communication and I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for “the spot” on Dauphin Island!

Loved it!

This was the perfect house and location for a weekend getaway with the kids! It was clean and well stocked. We played the games in the cabinet every night. The location is great for bike riding. We rode everywhere we wanted to go all over the island!Thank you for a great stay!

Retreat in the pines

Quiet location prefect for a relaxing getaway. The porch was perfect for morning coffee listening to the rain, or at night listening to the birds. The house had everything we needed even sound machines in the rooms to help the kids fall asleep for a peaceful nights rest. The owner was great to work with.
