Overall, our stay was decent, but there were definitely a few issues that made the experience less smooth than expected.We had a really hard time finding the apartment once we got through the gate. The code we were given didn’t work, so we ended up trying multiple units before figuring out which one was ours. Communication with the host was difficult — messages on the VRBO app went unanswered for quite a while, and even after finding his phone number, it took some time for him to understand that we couldn’t get in.Once inside, the apartment looked nice from a distance, but up close, it didn’t quite feel like the “luxury” listing described. The floors had some dents and loose boards, and the shower head was crooked and felt like it might fall off. My friends stayed in the bunk bed room — the top bunk didn’t feel stable enough to sleep on, and there was no comforter provided, so one of them ended up sleeping on the couch and using an extra blanket she found.Overall, the stay wasn’t terrible, but communication could definitely be improved, and a few small repairs and attention to detail would make a big difference in making the place feel truly comfortable and high-end.
