'Absolutely spectacular. We really enjoyed our time at Chateau de Candes. Bertrand and Sam went out of their way to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Running this place is not easy but the family are doing their absolute best as custodians. They are fully dedicated and committed to making Chateau de Candes a success. Merci Bertrand et Sam. 'Nice and clean accommodation with airco. The room was modern and just spacious enough for a comfortable stay. Parking was conveniently on the compound. Well worth the price.'

'Vriendelijk personeel, prima ontbijt, maar de staat van de kamers is een beetje verdrietig. Airco defect, alleen oppervlakkig schoon. Bedden zijn prima.'

'Prachtige kamer met salon, haard, groot bed en veel kasten en boekenrekken, trapje af naar grote badkamer. Apart toilet. Geweldige suite dus, voor lage prijs. Je kan in het salon zitten, er is een biljartkamer... Ontbijten doe je aan een grote tafel met de andere gasten. Het vriendelijke onthaal wordt verzorgd door de dame des huizes met Ierse roots, en de efficiënte Monique. Je waant je even echte adel. Heerlijk verblijf.'

'This was truly a gem within walking distance to the town centre. We adored the gardens, lobby and resting areas, and the spacious room and the pool. The interior furnishings were luxurious. The owners have great pride in the place and attention to detail shows at every corner. The only letdown was the small number of staff, that impacts the service a bit. Still it is excellent value nd recommend to stay more than a couple days to truly enjoy the place. '
